Postpartum Blues

These are some websites that deal specifically with postpartum depression after having a baby. Some are ones recommended by my nurse midwife practitioner and others are ones I found helpful.

Help Guide: Is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help women be able to find for themselves if there symptoms are postpartum or just a simple decrease in hormones after birth.

Baby Center: I love this website. I check with it anytime I have questions about Baby G's health or milestones. The website also has a chat board where you can ask questions and other moms will respond. I used it to also help me get through some of the difficult parts of my postpartum.

Alpha Mom: I love her sense of humor! She reminds me of myself. She writes about all things pregnancy and parenting. An admitted sufferer of over anxiety it was fun to have this sassy personality to relate to while I was pregnant and after. She admits about how she didn't reach out the first time she had postpartum anxiety and didn't even realize she had it until her next child.

Postpartum International: Is a support group for women nation wide and also helps you find support in your own community. This website also has resources for partners who maybe worried about their spouses.
