Local Help

This page is dedicated to finding help in your local area. Whether you need support groups or emergency hotlines for you or some one you love.

This website was created after the KBHC’s founder Reese Butler’s wife lost her long struggle with depression in April 1998. KBHC is responsible for creating the first national toll-free phone number connecting crisis centers nation wide. The phone number is 1.800.SUICIDE

This website is able to help you understand what depression is and how to cope. It also outlines what to expect from hotlines and how they can help you. It also has guides on how to deal with depression while facing difficult health problems such as cancer.

This is a peer lead website meaning that most of the staff workers who help with the website have mood disorders themselves. The website includes information for those who want to know ways to support those they love.

All of these websites are nationally recognized and awarded for their efforts in helping those with mood disorders.
